The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the town, with just a short walk to the center of town. The cottage itself is cosy and comfortable, with a high-end shower room and effective heating. The owner is helpful and obliging, providing a warm welcome gift of wine and cakes.
Parking may be an issue, especially during busy times such as midsummer.

We had a fantastic stay at this charming cottage! The location was perfect - tucked away in a quiet area, yet still within easy walking distance to the center of town. We loved being able to explore Bakewell on foot and discover all the local shops and attractions. The cottage itself was cozy and well-equipped, with a high-end shower room that made us feel pampered. The heating was also very effective, which was great for those chilly nights. Another advantage was the parking arrangement - although it was a bit tricky at times, having a permit provided made it easier to find a spot nearby.
One minor downside was the parking situation. While we were able to find parking close by throughout our stay, I can imagine it might be more difficult in busier times like midsummer.

Lovely welcome gift of wine and shortbread biscuits upon arrival. The cottage had a cosy and comfortable atmosphere, with a comfortable bed and well-presented bedrooms. The location was excellent, within easy walking distance of the town center and with beautiful views from the back bedroom.
Parking could be tricky, especially during busier periods. However, with a bit of effort, we were able to find a parking spot nearby.
